U-Turm Project Dortmund RUHR2010 reportage

Joining the MediaLab team from Hogeschool van Amsterdam was great during the final ceremony of the E-Culture Fair as part of the RUHR2010 Cultural Capital of Dortmund, Germany. 4 Days of sweat and blood in billions of colors we charged the visualisation experience that the new cultural building of U-Turm (great great exhibition tower, thanks Jan and Maarten for the grand tour!) needed so badly. Well, in short we had a lotta fun. Capturing the zenith of months of creative process was truly a pleasure.

Experience the Multi Explorable Interactive Projection designed by

artist Matthias Oostrik, creative producers Jan Scholte, Gijs Gootjes

and the MediaLAB student team.

This evening we will have the closingceremony of the ISEA/E-CultureFair

and RUHR2010 as the Cultural Captital 2010.

Sound artist Kid Simius (who often plays and tours with Marteria) will be putting the beat to the project with an exciting live set.
We and our partners Virtueel Platform, Beamsystems and the Institute of Network Cultures will be happy to meet, greet, dance and inspire you at the U-Turm, the new creative heart of the Ruhr Area.
